Privacy policy

What we collect

There is nothing to sign up for on ActionCamList: no accounts, no newsletter, no forms, no comments. Your name, email address and payment details are never asked for, because there is nothing here to give them to.

The web server keeps ordinary request logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps — the way nearly every site does. They exist to keep the site running and secure, and they rotate out automatically.

Analytics

This site does not currently run any analytics script. If that changes, this page will say which one, what it sets, and how to opt out, before it ships.

What your browser stores

Your listing filters are kept in your browser's session storage so that returning from a camera page puts you back on the list you were looking at. That data never leaves your browser and clears when you close the tab. Nothing else is stored, and no cookies are set.

Links off the site

ActionCamList carries no retailer links, no affiliate links and no advertising. Nothing on this site earns a commission, and no ranking is influenced by money. A handful of pages link to manufacturer documentation and to published reviews as sources; once you leave, those sites' own privacy policies apply and we do not control what they collect.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from them.
